Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Group seeks a Senior Interface & Logistics Engineer for a large-scale infrastructure/airport project in Saudi Arabia. You will identify and manage interfaces between contractors, consultants, and client teams, lead workshops, and maintain an interface register.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
  • 12+ years’ experience in interface and logistics engineering on large-scale infrastructure/airport projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PMC operations, contractor coordination, and airport construction logistics.
  • Proficiency in project management and logistics software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and SAP.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and material handling safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to avoid bottlenecks or delays.
  • Track inventory and material flow across project sites and storage yards.
  • Support project schedule integration for logistics activities and interface milestones.
  • Identify risks related to logistics and interfaces and propose mitigation measures.
  • Assist Project Controls in tracking impacts of interface or logistics delays on the schedule.
  • Prepare periodic interface and logistics reports for PMC management and the client.
  • Maintain records of material movements, site logistics, and interface correspondence.
  • Track action items from interface and logistics meetings and ensure closure.
  • Ensure logistics operations comply with site HSE standards and project safety requirements.
  • Liaise with multiple contractors, subcontractors, client representatives, and airport authorities.
  • Support conflict resolution and ensure smooth communication across all project parties.
  • Identify risks related to logistics and interfaces and support mitigation planning.
  • Contribute to project risk registers and monitor high-risk items.

Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of PMC operations, contractor coordination, and airport construction logistics.
  • Proficiency in project management and logistics software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, SAP).
