Requirements/Qualification
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in design engineering on oil and gas industry including petrochemical
- Lead experience with Client interface and coordination
- Strong Brownfield experience
- Study, FEED and Detail Design project experience
- Experience inf Instrumentation deliverables, DCS, SIS and F&G
- Familiarity with Analyzer
- Familiarity with HCIS (SAIS) industrial directives for Fire Protection and Security
- Transferrable Iqama
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Instrumentation & Control engineering activities for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
- Manage and coordinate all I&C deliverables during Study, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
- Serve as the primary focal point for client interactions, technical discussions, and project coordination.
- Develop, review, and approve instrumentation engineering documents, drawings, specifications, and datasheets.
- Lead the design, specification, and integration of DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas (F&G) systems.
- Review and approve instrument index, I/O lists, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, control philosophies, and cause & effect matrices.
- Provide technical expertise in analyzer systems and associated instrumentation packages.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, and applicable client specifications.
- Support Brownfield projects, including plant modifications, revamps, upgrades, and tie-in activities.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors, and construction personnel to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct technical reviews, design verification, and engineering quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with HCIS (SAIS) directives related to Industrial Security, Fire Protection, and Safety Systems.
- Participate in technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and procurement support activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities as required.
- Identify technical risks and propose effective engineering solutions to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
