Job summary

Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Instrumentation Inspector to oversee the inspection and quality control of instrumentation and control system installations for the Stadium Project. The successful candidate will ensure that instrumentation works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, international standards, and client requirements while supporting testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of instrumentation and control system installations, including field instruments, control panels, junction boxes, cable trays, impulse tubing, and associated equipment.
  • Verify installation activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and applicable international standards.
  • Inspect instrument mounting, cable routing, terminations, tubing installation, and calibration activities.
  • Witness loop checks, functional testing, calibration, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
  • Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), material inspection requests, and quality documentation.
  • Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and maintain quality records.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and client representatives to resolve quality and technical issues.
  • Ensure all inspection activities comply with project quality standards, client requirements, and HSE regulations.
  • Support project handover by verifying testing, commissioning, and as-built documentation.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in instrumentation inspection for large-scale building, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, PLC/DCS interfaces, field instruments, and calibration procedures.
  • Experience in inspection, testing, calibration, commissioning, and QA/QC procedures for instrumentation systems.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, ISA, ISO, and applicable project specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, hook-up drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
  • GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience is highly preferred.
