Job summary

Fichtner Consulting Engineers Company seeks an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to lead design, integration, and commissioning of complex control systems in heavy industries.

You will oversee lifecycle management of instrumentation assets, calibrations, maintenance, and replacements, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing reliability across power, petrochemical, and energy projects in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• PE license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in instrumentation and control engineering.
• Experience in powerplants, petrochemicals, and power generation industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex control systems with instrumentation and automation.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans for instrumentation and control systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot advanced instrumentation and control issues and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee lifecycle management of instrumentation assets including calibration, maintenance, and replacement strategies.
