Job summary

KBR is seeking an Instrument Technician III to lead maintenance efforts and keep instrument assets reliable so process units stay in operation. You will supervise technicians, implement maintenance plans, and ensure safe, compliant execution on site.

Requirements include 2–4 years in Oil & Gas maintenance and a Diploma/Bachelor's. Strong English communication and leadership skills are essential for success in a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
  • Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities.
  • Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
  • Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
  • Strategic management skills.
  • An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise and coordinate activities of maintenance technician’s team.
  • Focus on preventive maintenance plan and breakdown maintenance development.
  • Execute monthly and weekly maintenance plan; report progress regularly.
  • Provide onsite maintenance and repairs on all types of Instruments (generators, transformers and motors).
  • Keep records of daily maintenance works against planned programs and prepare completion reports.
  • Assist in engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment.
