Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction supervision of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, highways and tunnels in Saudi Arabia or the GCC. The role focuses on leadership, contract administration, and coordinating with clients and authorities to deliver major transportation schemes on time and within budget.

The candidate will oversee QA/QC, HSE on-site, and ensure compliance with Saudi standards and contract documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 20+ years in construction supervision of roads, bridges, highways, tunnels.
• 5+ years in Saudi Arabia or GCC consultancy.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects per Saudi standards (MOT, Aramco, etc.).
• Proficiency with contract frameworks such as FIDIC; PMP preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction supervision team for major infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, highways, tunnels).
• Manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring compliance with contracts, specs, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and authorities to resolve technical and contractual issues.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee QA/QC and HSE compliance on-site.
• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Monitor contractor performance, track delays, and support change orders and claims.
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular reports to senior management and the client.
• Ensure milestones and deliverables are met within budget and schedule.
