Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our construction supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting the delivery of a major infrastructure project.

The role will lead all Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the project, ensuring contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders comply with WSP standards, client requirements, Saudi regulations and international best practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate at minimum; Diploma preferred; IOSH membership preferred; OSHA/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or equivalent advantageous.
• Minimum 15+ years’ experience in HSE roles within construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Project HSE Management Plan across all construction activities.
• Act as primary HSE representative for the project, coordinating with client, contractors, supervision team and authorities.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, engagement and clear communication.
• Provide expert HSE advice to senior project leaders and stakeholders.
• Ensure HSE risks are identified, assessed, managed and mitigated across all construction phases.
