Job summary

CodeNinja is seeking a Senior IBM App Connect Developer to design, build, and support enterprise integration solutions for a leading Saudi bank. This hands-on middleware role requires deep ACE/IIB expertise and proven banking-sector delivery experience, on-site in Saudi Arabia for a 6-month engagement with potential extension.

Responsibilities include designing and deploying integration flows, implementing MQ/REST/SOAP, and ensuring security and transactional integrity across interfaces.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Strong knowledge of ESQL, message flow design, and IBM MQ.
• Proficiency in Java, XML/XSD, REST, and SOAP web services.
• Mandatory prior experience delivering middleware/integration solutions within a bank or financial institution.
• Experience with WebSphere and Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production integration issues.
• Arabic language is a preference.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy integration flows using ACE/IIB.
• Build message flows and transformations to integrate core banking systems.
• Implement integrations over MQ, REST, SOAP, JMS, and file-based protocols.
• Configure and maintain IBM MQ queues and channels.
• Ensure security, reliability, and transactional integrity across interfaces.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and monitoring of middleware components.
• Diagnose production incidents with root-cause analysis and documentation.
