Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth, achieve targets, and expand market share in Riyadh and central Saudi Arabia.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, distributors and other stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts.
• Promote DX air handling units, condensing units, packaged units and DX split systems.
• Analyze customer requirements and tailor technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, cost estimates and pricing.
• Follow up on offers, negotiate terms, and support contract closures.
• Coordinate with engineering, factories and internal teams for pricing and timely deliveries.
• Visit customers regularly, monitor market trends and competitor activity to generate leads.
• Review submittals and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor payments and support collection of receivables.

Role Purpose

Carrier is seeking a results-driven and customer-oriented Senior Sales Engineer to drive sales growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships in Riyadh and the Central Region of Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and promoting Carrier’s HVAC solutions by understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable technical and commercial offerings. This role requires strong technical knowledge of unitary HVAC products, a proven sales track record in the Saudi market, and the ability to develop long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve assigned sales targets, order bookings, and market share objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, consultants, contractors, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
• Promote Carrier HVAC solutions, including DX air handling units, condensing units, packaged units, and DX split systems.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare and review quotations, technical proposals, tenders, cost estimates, and project pricing.
• Follow up on quotations and proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and support contract finalization.
• Coordinate with application engineering teams, factories, and internal stakeholders to ensure competitive pricing, suitable technical solutions, and timely deliveries.
• Conduct regular customer visits, monitor market trends, identify competitor activities, and generate qualified sales leads.
• Review technical submittals and sales documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer and project requirements.
• Monitor payment status and support timely collection of outstanding receivables.
• Participate in sales reviews, business planning, and customer engagement activities to support the company's growth strategy.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi national.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in HVAC sales or a related technical sales role.
• Proven experience selling unitary HVAC products, including DX air handling units, condensing units, packaged units, and DX split systems.
• A strong track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships in the Saudi market.
• Knowledge of the Riyadh and Central Region HVAC market is highly preferred.
• Strong technical, commercial, negotiation, and business development skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
• Proactive, organized, and results-oriented, with a strong customer focus and passion for sales.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize tasks, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
