Job summary

Datamatics Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical & Business Consultant to lead FHIR/NPHIES initiatives in Riyadh on a 4-month fixed-term onsite contract. The role blends business acumen with deep healthcare tech expertise to enable interoperability across HIE/HIS, payer-provider platforms, and digital health modernization.

The candidate should have 8–10 years in HealthTech, fluent English and mandatory Arabic, and a strong background in SQL, HL7, and various software architectures.

Qualifications

• Education: BSc Degree in Software Engineering, MIS, or Computer Science.
• Total experience: 8–10 years with 5+ years in HealthTech.
• Healthcare IT: experience in HIE, HIS, payer-provider platforms.
• Interoperability Standards: strong understanding of FHIR and HL7.
• Tech stack: software development (.NET, Java); SQL; system integration.
• Domain: Revenue Cycle & Payors; knowledge of NPHIES is advantageous.
• Project & Business Analysis: requirements gathering and delivery oversight.
• Languages: Fluent English; Arabic mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Domain Expertise & Advisory: guide on FHIR/HL7 and interoperability.
• Client Engagement & Needs Assessment: understand goals and technical needs.
• Solution Architecture & Integration: design architectures for FHIR/NPHIES.
• Process Optimization: streamline operations and optimize data exchange.
• Technology Enablement: recommend cloud, APIs, and microservices.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: coordinate with analysts, developers, QA, and delivery.
• Subject Matter Expertise: act as SME for NPHIES initiatives and training.
• Documentation: support workshops and knowledge transfer.
