Job summary

Maaden in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Geologist to lead the grade control drilling team, develop procedures, and ensure safe mining across office, plant, field, and laboratory work. The role supports exploration programs within budget and provides technical expertise to staff and contractors.

Key tasks include building geological models, planning grade control drilling, QA/QC, and preparing reports, maps, and presentations while coordinating with mining and resource teams to meet refinery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of mining/geology experience.
• Experience in mine planning and scheduling essential.
• Ability to interpret geological data and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EHS policy, procedures and systems are implemented and followed by all employees and contractors.
• Develop and update geological and resource models; interpret data; plan grade control drilling programs.
• Oversee sampling, QA/QC and database integrity; conduct production and grade reconciliation.
• Prepare geological reports, maps and technical presentations; coordinate with mining teams.
• Oversee monthly, weekly and daily grade control functions; act as the geology point of contact.
• Support budget planning and provide monthly progress reports.
