Job summary

Masar Al-Ejada Management Consulting Company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced General Accountant to join its finance team on a full-time basis. The role requires more than five years of practical accounting experience in operations, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

You will support daily activities, manage customer and supplier accounts, bank reconciliations, and monthly/yearly closings, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• More than 5 years of practical accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Good knowledge of accounting procedures and standards.
• Ability to prepare accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong understanding of accounting records, financial transactions, and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Record and review daily accounting entries and verify supporting documentation.
• Monitor customer and supplier accounts, expenses, and revenue.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and review financial balances and transactions.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities.
• Prepare necessary accounting adjustments during closing processes.
• Prepare and review periodic financial reports and financial statements.
• Monitor general ledger accounts and ensure accurate classification and recording of transactions.
• Organize and maintain accounting records and supporting documents according to approved procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments and relevant authorities regarding required financial data and reports.
• Support improvements to the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of accounting processes and controls.
