Robaeyat Code Engineering Consulting in Dammam, Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Design Fire Protection Engineer (Consultant) to lead the design and coordination of fire protection systems for industrial facilities. You will ensure code compliance and oversee HCIS and Civil Defense submissions.

The role requires hands-on experience with HCIS procedures, NFPA standards, and Saudi Building Code, with strong collaboration across architects, MEP engineers, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in fire protection system design for industrial facilities.
• Experience with HCIS processes and Saudi Civil Defense approval projects.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards, Saudi Building Code, HCIS regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in coordinating with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop fire protection systems for industrial facilities, including sprinklers, alarms, suppression, standpipes, and clean agent systems.
• Prepare design calculations, technical reports, specifications, and detailed shop drawings.
• Coordinate fire protection design with other disciplines to integrate into the project.
• Review requirements for HCIS and Civil Defense approvals and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
• Support FEED design documentation for HCIS and Civil Defense review.
• Review material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and contractor shop drawings.
• Conduct site visits to verify installation against approved drawings and design intent.
