Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Field Engineer – Materials to oversee material-related activities on a major site supervision project. You will ensure materials meet specifications, coordinates with labs, and monitor QA/QC throughout procurement to handover.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction materials and a strong track record on large projects, with familiarity in ASTM/BS/ISO standards and ITPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Materials/Construction Eng or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years in construction materials engineering, quality control, or site supervision.
• Minimum 5 years in materials inspection, testing, or supervision on major projects.
• Experience on large-scale buildings, convention centres, hospitality developments, hotels, or mixed-use projects.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects preferred; strong English (Arabic advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect construction materials for compliance with project specs and quality requirements.
• Review submittals, technical data sheets, certificates of compliance, and manufacturer docs.
• Coordinate sampling, testing, and laboratory inspections with labs and inspectors.
• Ensure testing aligns with approved standards and ITPs; maintain quality records.
• Identify non‑conforming materials and recommend corrective actions; support NCR closures.
