Job summary

Buro Happold in Riyadh is seeking a Facade Engineer to design high-performing, sustainable building envelopes on medium-sized projects, with leadership support as needed. You will develop facade concepts from client requirements, coordinate with architects and contractors, and prepare technical documents and shop drawings.

The role requires hands-on experience with facade materials (aluminium, steel, glass, stone), knowledge of CWCT, EN, ASTM standards, plus proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural/Architectural engineering or related field.
• Chartered status or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience on international projects is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead facade engineering delivery on medium-sized projects with support when needed.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and subcontractors.
• Develop facade designs from client requirements and concepts.
• Prepare and coordinate details, specs, reports, calculations and tender docs.
• Review submissions and monitor facade installation on site.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
