Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional facade engineering experience, ideally in consultancy.
• Proven track record on facade projects including curtain wall, glazing, cladding and specialist systems.
• Proficient in REVIT, BIM, SpaceGass or equivalent tools.
• Strong project management skills: budgets, timelines, client requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and QA focus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver facade and structural engineering solutions across concept, detailed design, documentation and construction support.
• Manage project planning and coordinate resources for assigned projects.
• Prepare tender documentation, design specs and project deliverables meeting client requirements and local codes.
• Coordinate facade designs with internal teams, architects and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships in a professional manner.
• Analyze facade systems (curtain walls, glazing, cladding, specialist systems) for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Support the team in problem-solving and innovation to advance facade engineering.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Facade Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering innovative facade engineering solutions that meet client requirements while adhering to project timelines and budgets. You will work on high-profile, complex projects across the region, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create cutting-edge building envelope systems that combine functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

• Design and deliver facade and structural engineering solutions, including concept development, detailed design, documentation, analysis, specifications, and construction phase support
• Manage project planning and coordinate resources for assigned projects, ensuring efficient execution and quality outcomes
• Prepare comprehensive tender documentation, design specifications, and project deliverables that meet client requirements and local building codes
• Produce and coordinate facade engineering designs by liaising with internal design teams, architects, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships by conducting all work in a professional, transparent, and productive manner
• Analyze facade systems including curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and specialist systems to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness
• Support the team in problem-solving and innovation to advance facade engineering practices and deliver visionary solutions

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of demonstrated professional experience in facade engineering or a similar role, ideally within a consultancy environment
• Proven experience working on facade projects, including curtain wall systems, glazing, cladding, and specialist facade systems
• Proficiency with relevant software and platforms such as REVIT, BIM, SpaceGass, or equivalent design tools
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, including budget management, timeline adherence, and client requirement fulfillment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance focus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-rise or complex facade systems in challenging environments
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian and GCC building codes, standards, and regulations
• Experience in a multicultural and collaborative team environment
• Knowledge of sustainable facade design and energy-efficient building envelope systems
• Problem-solving expertise and innovative thinking in facade engineering solutions
• Professional engineering licensure or relevant certifications in structural or facade engineering
