Objective
Responsible for high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment. The incumbent must source candidates through college visits, career fairs, networking events, and social media; ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees; and assist with day-to-day operations of the Human Capital functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle Coordination
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new joiners, including document collection, induction scheduling, and system updates in collaboration with the HC Operations team.
- Track and support probation reviews, confirmation processes, contract renewals, and internal transfers.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRMS and resolve employee lifecycle queries promptly.
- HR Support to Business Units
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and line managers for daily HR inquiries, policy guidance, and process clarifications.
- Assist brand function heads in implementing approved HR actions such as role changes, relocations, or disciplinary processes.
- Facilitate internal communications related to HR programs, announcements, and engagement events.
- Performance Development Coordination
- Support execution of the annual performance review cycle by aiding goal-setting templates, reminders, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate with the Learning & Development team to schedule learning sessions, ensure participation, and gather feedback.
- Compile talent data and maintain employees’ performance histories.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Organize employee engagement activities such as team-building events, wellness campaigns, and celebration days.
- Track participation in engagement programs and generate basic reports on involvement and feedback.
- Escalate potential employee relations concerns to the Assistant Manager or Manager of Human Capital for review.
- HR Reporting & Administration
- Maintain and share regular reports and trackers related to headcount, attrition, leaves, and employee movements.
- Ensure accurate issuance and storage of HR documentation, letters, and memos in alignment with audit standards.
- Coordinate with other HR sub-functions (recruitment, admin, payroll) to resolve cross-functional issues for assigned business units.
- Compliance & Process Discipline
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, SOPs, and approval workflows across all HR activities.
- Participate in internal HR audits by supporting documentation requirements and follow-up actions.
- Assist in the rollout of new policies, procedures, or systems by facilitating awareness and training sessions for staff.
Desired Experience
Senior Executive Human Capital in a retail company with at least three years of progressive experience in HRMS administration; proven success in driving high-level cross-functional collaboration, enhancing customer engagement, and achieving or exceeding sales KPI targets for stores.
