About The Role

At OMQ, the Senior Project Manager plays a critical leadership role in managing end-to-end event projects, ensuring seamless execution, high-quality delivery, and full alignment with client expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage event projects from initiation to final delivery.
  • Review and validate project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and execution roadmaps.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (Creative, Production, Logistics, Technical, etc.).
  • Assign tasks, define responsibilities, and ensure accountability across all project teams.
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, and budgets, ensuring alignment with approved plans.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early, and proactively implement mitigation plans.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients regarding project execution.
  • Oversee on-site implementation and ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage urgent changes, last-minute requests, and unexpected challenges with minimal disruption.
  • Ensure proper site readiness, handover, and post-event closure activities.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, lessons learned, and performance insights to management.
  • Document project execution processes and outcomes for future reference and improvement.
  • Coach, guide, and support Project Managers and Project Coordinators when applicable.
  • Drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to project management processes, tools, and workflows.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the events, exhibitions, or production industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex, and multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • High proficiency in project management tools and operational systems.
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Language: Fluency in Arabic with strong English proficiency.
