Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef is seeking an Environmental Engineer to monitor compliance with environmental regulations and company sustainability goals across facilities and capital projects. You will conduct EIAs, monitor emissions and waste, and coordinate decarbonization initiatives while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from an accredited university.
• Certification such as PE, CEnv, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or NEBOSH is highly preferred.
• 3–10 years of progressive environmental engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or heavy energy.
• Strong familiarity with Middle Eastern/Saudi regulations (NCEC, GAMEP, Royal Commission) and international standards (USEPA, IFC).

Aufgaben

• Audit facility compliance with SAES, NCEC regulations, and international standards.
• Conduct regular environmental compliance audits, site inspections, and risk assessments.
• Oversee wastewater treatment, wastewater monitoring, and air emission tracking.
• Coordinate waste management programs in line with circular economy principles.
• Participate in EIAs for new projects and upgrades; integrate BAT into designs.
• Develop and deliver environmental monitoring programs and reports.
• Support decarbonization efforts, energy efficiency, and water conservation.
• Lead environmental awareness training for site personnel and contractors.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
