Job summary

Tameeni is seeking a Senior Engineer - Integration Design to design, develop, and support system integrations and APIs across Tameeni platforms, ensuring reliable and secure integration between internal systems, external partners, and third‑party services.

You will design scalable integration solutions, build REST/SOAP APIs, work with JSON, XML and OpenAPI, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security teams and partners to uphold standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in system integration, API development, or middleware technologies.
• Experience with enterprise integration environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs and integration solutions based on requirements.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and integration services.
• Work with JSON, XML, and OpenAPI.
• Configure and support API management and integration platforms.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

Previous Work Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in system integration, API development, or middleware technologies.

• Experience working with enterprise integration environments is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and OpenAPI.

• Experience with API management or middleware platforms such as IBM API Connect, IBM DataPower, or webMethods.

• Good understanding of integration architecture and design patterns.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile development practices.

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Good written and verbal English.
