Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast LLC., Riyadh is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering professional to supervise and manage electrical installation works within a major MEP construction project in Riyadh. You will ensure compliance with shop drawings, specs, and method statements while coordinating with mechanical, ELV, civil, and architectural teams to resolve clashes.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience in MEP projects, strong knowledge of LV, emergency power, UPS, generators, and ELV

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 8–12 years of experience in MEP construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including LV, emergency power, UPS, generators, and ELV.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage electrical installation works including LV power, lighting, emergency systems, earthing, lightning protection and ELV low current systems.
• Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved shop drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Plan daily and weekly electrical activities and allocate manpower and resources.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings and technical submittals for compliance and constructability.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, ELV, civil and architectural teams to resolve clashes.
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical solutions to site-related issues.
• Implement quality control procedures for electrical works.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests (IRs) and ensure approvals.
• Oversee testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and energization activities.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE policies and electrical safety standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe electrical work practices.
• Identify electrical hazards and ensure risk control measures are implemented.
• Monitor progress of electrical works against the project schedule.
• Identify delays, constraints and interface issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate material procurement, delivery and installation sequencing.
• Supervise electrical foremen, technicians and subcontractors.
• Monitor productivity and workmanship quality.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain records of inspections, testing, approvals and site instructions.
• Assist with variations, claims and final account documentation related to electrical works.
