Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline; strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Min 10 years of relevant experience; 3+ years in a consultant/PMC environment.
• Strong knowledge of SBC and international codes; SCE registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical IFC drawings, shop drawings, calculations, submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Supervise LV power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, grounding, lightning protection, and related systems.
• Review ELV systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, ICT/data, and other systems.
• Review load calculations, single-line diagrams, equipment schedules, and technical data.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, mechanical, structural, infrastructure disciplines.
• Review RFIs and resolve design, interface, and site technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and review WIRs/MIRs.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, progress, and quality.
• Review and witness testing and commissioning activities.
• Review NCRs and verify corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, SEC, IEC, NFPA, and other standards.
• Review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and close-out documentation.

Job description

Responsible for the technical review, supervision, testing, commissioning, and coordination of electrical systems for ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, project requirements, and applicable codes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of overall relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with a Consultant / PMC organization.
• Strong technical background in the relevant discipline, with proven ability to review designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, technical submittals, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong experience in design review, construction supervision, technical coordination, site execution, quality control, and contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant international codes and standards.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) in the appropriate professional classification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
