Job summary

Seder Group Trading and Contracting is seeking an experienced elevator technician to install, maintain and repair elevator and escalator systems. The role requires diagnosing escalator electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues and performing preventive maintenance to ensure safe operation.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an Elevator Mechanic license is highly advantageous and at least 8 years of hands-on experience with vertical transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training advantageous.
• Certifications such as Elevator Mechanic license demonstrate proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair elevator and escalator systems following manufacturer specs and safety codes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues in vertical transportation.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on elevator/escalator components.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and wiring diagrams for installation and repair work.
• Ensure safe operation by installing, inspecting and maintaining elevators/escalators.
