Job summary

Al-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies is seeking a Pre Sales Engineer to analyze client and tender requirements for tailored elevator solutions. The role involves traffic analyses, safety compliance, and developing detailed specifications to support sales and execution teams.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, prepare technical inputs for bids, and ensure submissions meet project specs while translating technical details to the execution phase.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent bachelor.
• 1–3 years of elevator field experience preferred.
• CAD (AutoCAD) knowledge.
• KSA Driving License required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client and tender requirements to recommend elevator systems.
• Perform traffic analyses to determine elevator capacity and speeds.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and input specs into the E-gis system.
• Prepare drawings/layouts with shaft size, machine room, pit depth, headroom.
• Coordinate with teams to estimate pricing and share CIF/FOB data.
• Support sales in meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Respond to RFQs/RFPs and tender documents with clarity.
• Review tender documents for technical requirements and compliance.
• Transfer technical details to execution teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
