HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with demonstrable telecommunications infrastructure experience to join its client-side PMCM team on a major government land development and infrastructure program in Riyadh. Lead the review and supervision of electrical and telecom design, testing, commissioning and handover across the package scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university; a telecommunications specialization or relevant additional qualification is an advantage.
• More than 12 years of relevant professional experience is required for recruitment screening.
• Proven experience in BOTH electrical power infrastructure and telecommunications infrastructure design/design review AND construction supervision on major infrastructure or land development projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical distribution networks, substations and transformers; underground cables, street lighting, earthing, protection, testing and commissioning.
• Demonstrated knowledge of telecom ducts, chambers, fibre-optic networks, network interfaces, service-provider coordination and telecom installation/testing practices.
• Experience in a PMC/PMCM, owner’s engineer or engineering supervision consultant role, including design submittal review, site inspections and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Working knowledge of Saudi regulations and utility/service-provider requirements, applicable IEC and other project-adopted standards, and construction QA/HSE procedures.
• Ability to review engineering calculations, CAD drawings, technical specifications, inspection/test plans and handover documentation; familiarity with document-control systems like Aconex.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), as required for the appointment.
• Strong written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Review electrical and telecommunications design submissions at master-planning, concept, detailed-design and issued-for-construction stages.
• Review electrical infrastructure including distribution, substations, feeders, duct banks and lighting; assess interfaces with civil works.
• Review telecom infrastructure including ducts, fibre-optic cabling, access networks and service-provider connections.
• Assess design coordination between electrical/telecom systems and roads, drainage, landscaping and utilities; identify clashes and constructability constraints.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, inspection and test plans, RFIs and deviations; issue technical comments.
• Monitor installation and construction, verify conformity with drawings, specifications and codes via site inspections and inspectors.
• Coordinate electrical inspectors with Construction Manager; track deficiencies and ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate submissions, permits, no-objection certificates and witnessing with authorities/service providers; liaise with SEC and operators.
• Review and witness electrical testing and commissioning; conduct telecom testing per approved procedures.
• Monitor progress and identify long-lead equipment, risks and mitigation actions; support handover readiness.
