Job summary

jasara program management company is seeking a Senior Electrical Manager to lead electrical engineering and construction activities across the project lifecycle. The role ensures design, installation, testing, and commissioning meet project specs, quality, safety, and budget requirements.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to deliver successful projects, mentor teams, review technical bids, and drive procurement support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Professional Engineering certification is preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all electrical engineering and construction activities.
• Manage electrical design reviews and ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, technical submittals, and material selections.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
• Lead, mentor, and develop electrical engineering teams.
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and management presentations.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical bids and vendor proposals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Master's degree (advantage)

Professional Engineering certification (preferred)

PMP certification (advantage)
