Job summary

Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy in Riyadh seeks a highly qualified Electrical Engineer to oversee street lighting maintenance and general electrical infrastructure within municipality assets. You will report to the supervising engineer and coordinate with on-site teams to ensure reliable operation and safety.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of operation and maintenance experience, and SCE accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with emphasis on operation and maintenance, street lighting.
• SCE accreditation mandatory.
• Experience supervising electrical maintenance projects in contractor or consultant roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise electrical maintenance projects, drawing on extensive experience from contractor and consultant perspectives.
• Manage and direct all street lighting maintenance work for optimal functionality, energy efficiency, and public safety.
• Lead and guide maintenance teams, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of electrical infrastructure and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical problems and implement lasting solutions.
• Prepare and submit daily and periodic reports detailing progress, resources, and challenges.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with Amana standards, national codes, and safety protocols.
