Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Electrical/ELV Engineer for our Saudi Arabia projects. You will monitor electrical works, review submittals, and support start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of electrical systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 14+ years in Electrical/ELV with Middle East construction exposure, including AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency. You will coordinate with sub consultants and assist with claims and project records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 14+ years of experience as Electrical/ELV Engineer with 3-5 years in Construction Administration in the Middle East.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical works for conformance with contract documents and procedures manual.
• Review, approve and process all ELV and IT technical submittals.
• Prepare preliminary answers to RFIs related to Electrical works.
• Coordinate and supervise the pre-installation work of Electrical activities and operations.
• Review contractor's Electrical change order proposals and recommend actions to Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Liaise with necessary sub consultants.
• Assist with reviewing contractor's claims related to Electrical works and prepare recommendations.
• Assist with review of contractor's project records related to Electrical discipline.
• Assist with inspection of completed works and oversee start-up, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Prepare sign-off package for completed Electrical works for sign-off by Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Perform other duties as directed by PM.
