Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in Saudi Arabia to oversee electrical design for buildings and infrastructure projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables. You will manage load calculations, equipment schedules and drawings, coordinating with architecture, structure, and MEP teams.

You will liaise with Saudi authorities, lead design reviews, ensure safety and quality, and support BIM integration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 12-15 years of relevant electrical design experience.
• Strong experience leading electrical engineering teams.
• Experience with building and infrastructure electrical design.
• Saudi Arabian projects experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team across assigned projects.
• Oversee the development of electrical designs for buildings and infrastructure including MV/LV distribution.
• Perform electrical engineering calculations including load schedules, transformer sizing, short-circuit studies and protection coordination.
• Produce and review design deliverables (SLDs, load schedules, equipment/data sheets, layouts, BOMs, tender docs).
• Coordinate with SEC and utility providers and ensure Saudi regulatory compliance.
