Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Riyadh seeks a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to support GCC infrastructure projects, designing dry utilities networks including power (MV/LV), substations, street lighting and telecoms.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate utility approvals, and ensure HSE excellence while delivering multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and DIALux is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years GCC dry utilities experience in infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of power distribution, substations, lighting, telecoms.
• Experience coordinating utilities approvals with authorities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, DIALux and related software.
• Strong project and construction support experience.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder engagement, and budgeting ability.
• Experience in sustainable infrastructure and smart city developments is advantageous.

Overview

The AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Business is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, self-starter to join our Riyadh office as a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer. The Engineer will support infrastructure multi-disciplinary projects for clients in GCC, including planning, designing and engineering related to dry utilities networks which may be comprised of power (MV/LV), substations, electrical networks, renewable energy resources, street lighting, telecommunication.

Your role

• Job also requires ability to assemble and analyze data.
• Technicalsupport on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects delivery.
• Report on project performance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure that a good Health & Safety culture is engendered within the team.
• Assist in developinga highly motivated and performing team creating opportunities for the development of individuals.
• Provide technical expertise on a variety of large engineering projects.
• Increase your networking profile with both internal and external clients.

About you

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in dry utilities engineering, with significant UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience.

• Proven experience leading complex multidisciplinary infrastructure and utilities projects.

• Extensive knowledge of power distribution systems, substations, street lighting, telecommunications, ICT, and security infrastructure.

• Experience managing utility coordination and obtaining authority approvals for major developments.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, DIALux, and related engineering software.

• Strong project management, design management, and construction support experience.

• Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills.

• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project budgets and resources.

• Experience in sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy integration, and smart city developments is advantageous.

• Ability to deliver multiple projects within a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
