Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support management of project documentation in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. You will ensure accurate control, tracking, distribution, and archiving in line with procedures and client requirements.

Role requires 5–10 years in document control on high-rise or major building projects, with preferred experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC. ISO and BIM information management knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in document control on high-rise and major building projects.
• 5 to 10 years of professional Document Control experience.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project document control systems in accordance with project and company procedures.
• Receive, register, distribute, track, and archive all incoming and outgoing project documents.
• Maintain document registers, transmittal logs, drawing registers, and correspondence trackers.
• Ensure all documents are properly classified, numbered, filed, and updated in accordance with project procedures.
• Monitor document review and approval workflows to ensure timely processing and responses.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, consultants, and client representatives regarding document submissions and approvals.
• Track document revisions and maintain complete revision histories.
• Manage document distribution through EDMS and CDE systems.
• Verify that only current approved documents are available for project use.
