Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a Design Manager to lead the Design Team and oversee the design process from development through on-site execution. The role requires regular site attendance to ensure approved designs are implemented with close coordination with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• 15-20 years of relevant experience including solid experience in a Design Manager role and Site Supervision.
• Strong experience in design management, interior fit-out and FF&E projects.
• Proven experience supervising design teams and following design execution on site.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, supervise the Design Team and the Works execution on site.
• Manage design deliverables coordination and approvals across multiple projects.
• Review design drawings, specifications, materials and technical submissions.
• Oversee FF&E projects including design development, material selection, procurement coordination, installation and handover.
• Attend sites regularly to monitor and supervise the execution of the approved design.
• Ensure the contractor's work complies with the approved drawings, specifications, materials and required quality standards.
• Follow up with contractors on design-related matters and resolve site issues in coordination with the relevant disciplines.
