Job summary

Saudi Arabia-based Senior Database Geologist will support the Chief Database Geoscientist by implementing changes to importing procedures and database customizations, ensuring data integrity and quality across exploration datasets.

The role includes training users in database software, assisting in data importation, and collaborating with the exploration team to align data workflows with geological principles.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Extensive experience in Fusion, DataShed or Aquire.
• Focus on error prevention rather than error correction.
• Detail oriented.
• Can readily recognize anomalous data.
• Ready to integrate exploration principles with data management.
• Knowledge in Python and any big data analytical tools will be added advantage.
• Skill in any Business inteligence visualisation tool (Power BI, Tableaue) will be added advantage.
• Multi-cultural experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Open minded and able to accommodate the needs of the exploration team.
• Logical and organized.
• Follows up to ensure timely task completion and quality results.
