Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer based in Saudi Arabia to design and optimize scalable cloud data warehouses and ELT pipelines. You will work with dbt, SQL, and modern columnar stores to deliver reliable data for analytics and ML initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration with data scientists and software engineers, and ownership of data infrastructure in a globally distributed, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouses in cloud environments (AWS or GCP).
• Strong data modeling and transformation skills with dbt.
• Excellent SQL and experience with columnar warehouses such as ClickHouse, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Experience with orchestration platforms like Prefect or Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data warehouses.
• Develop reliable data pipelines and ELT processes with data quality in mind.
• Design efficient data models and transformations using dbt and SQL.
• Optimize warehouse performance via tuning, partitioning, and indexing.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to convert data into insights.
• Work with cloud data warehouse tech like ClickHouse and other platforms.
