Job summary

Ernst & Young AE seeks an experienced data engineering consultant to translate business strategies into robust data platforms and pipelines across client engagements in the Saudi market.

You will architect end-to-end data solutions, design modern architectures, and collaborate with stakeholders to enable analytics, BI, and AI use cases. The role includes proposal shaping and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in data engineering or Data & AI consulting.
• Experience with SQL and Python for data engineering use cases.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and pipeline orchestration.
• Strong storytelling and client presentation skills.
• Experience across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premise technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end data engineering solutions across multiple client engagements.
• Architect, build and optimize scalable data platforms and data pipelines for analytics, BI and AI use cases.
• Design modern data architectures including medallion and lakehouse patterns across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Develop robust data models and pipelines with governance and security.
• Prepare and deliver client materials, proposals and executive narratives.
