Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Web Scraping, based remotely with Saudi Arabia as the operating base. You will design and maintain advanced scrapers, transform diverse sources into reliable datasets, and build scalable data products to support analytical and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/Engineering or related technical field.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in data engineering or related field.
• Strong Python and SQL with Pandas expertise.
• Extensive web-scraping experience with Selenium, Scrapy, Fiddler, Postman, XPath.
• Strong experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, APIs and related concepts.
• Ability to design scalable data infra and data products for teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain web scrapers using diverse techniques.
• Use Python and Pandas to clean, transform, and prepare large datasets.
• Build data pipelines to ingest scraped data into databases and warehouses.
• Develop and manage scheduled workflows with Airflow for reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to meet data requirements.
• Implement quality checks for data availability, accuracy, and integrity.
• Maintain alerting systems and resolve operational data incidents.
• Create tools and automation to improve web-scraping platform efficiency.
• Contribute to data-product design and infrastructure with teams.
• Work independently while coordinating with engineering and product teams.
