Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Data Engineer to build and operate large-scale data and ML pipelines in production. You will work across data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and ML operations to turn models into reliable production workflows.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to productionize forecasting and data-driven solutions, while improving pipeline reliability, performance, and observability in a distributed Agile team.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade data or ML pipelines.
• Proven ability to design and maintain data pipelines in production.
• Hands-on Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Experience with AWS Glue for data processing and transformation.
• Experience deploying ML models with SageMaker.
• Strong AWS cloud experience in production environments.
• Collaboration with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to productionize solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve production-grade data and ML pipelines.
• Develop Python-based ETL and data-processing workflows.
• Design and orchestrate workflows with Airflow and AWS Step Functions.
• Use AWS Glue for data transformation and pipeline execution.
• Support deployment of ML models using SageMaker.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to productionize models.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for data platform and ML infra.
• Collaborate with distributed Agile teams to improve engineering practices.
