Job summary

DataVolt is seeking a senior HVAC engineer to lead the design, installation, and commissioning of cooling systems across its data centers. You will oversee CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, pumps, and control systems, ensuring optimal temperatures and humidity while meeting energy efficiency targets.

You will collaborate with facility management and engineering teams to drive reliability, implement preventative maintenance, and respond to cooling-related incidents with rigorous RCA documentation.

Qualifications

• Expertise in cooling systems (chillers, air handlers, CRAC/CRAH).
• Knowledge of energy efficiency metrics (PUE, WUE).
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and DCIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems for data centers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational and energy efficiency standards.
• Oversee and tune cooling systems to maintain data center temperature and humidity.
• Implement preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of HVAC equipment.
• Monitor and optimize performance of cooling infrastructure and control systems.
• Conduct RCA documentation for HVAC-related incidents when needed.
• Develop and implement energy-efficient cooling strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues to minimize downtime.
