Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst – Data & AI to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for enterprise data and AI initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and AI teams to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.

In this role, you will map data sources and interfaces, maintain BRDs and backlogs, define acceptance criteria, and ensure traceability from business needs through

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years as a BA or similar role in data/AI projects.
• Strong experience with data sources, data flows, APIs, and integrations.
• Experience preparing BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with requirements traceability and backlog management.
• Understanding of AI/ML use cases is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze Data & AI business and technical requirements.
• Identify and document AI and data use cases and objectives.
• Map data sources, data flows, interfaces, integrations, and dependencies.
• Prepare and maintain BRDs, user stories, requirements, and product backlogs.
• Translate business requirements into clear and detailed technical requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria and support solution validation.
• Maintain requirements traceability from business needs through implementation and testing.
• Work closely with Data Architects, AI/ML teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and impacts across data and AI solutions.
• Support workshops, solution discussions, UAT, and requirement clarification throughout the project lifecycle.
