Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority is seeking an experienced investigator to lead end-to-end review and validation of seizure reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and legal soundness before escalation. The role involves advanced analysis of documentary, physical, and testimonial evidence to establish liability and ensure robust case files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in customs, legal enforcement, regulatory compliance, or investigation roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation of customs laws enforcement regulations and procedural frameworks to internal stakeholders.
• Identify systemic issues risks and gaps in investigation practices and recommend corrective measures and enhancements.
• Review and endorse critical documentation such as seizure reports interview records and prosecution requests.
• Oversee suspect interviews process ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards.
• Validate that Public Prosecution notifications are made accurately and within mandated timelines.
• Provide mentorship technical guidance and capability development support to investigation teams.
• Contribute to policy development standardization of procedures and continuous improvement initiatives in customs enforcement.
