Job summary

Rua Al Madinah Holding is seeking a senior tax and zakat professional to act as the key liaison with tax authorities, lead GAZT audits, and ensure accurate zakat and tax reporting across the organization. You will monitor accruals, review VAT and withholding taxes, and stay compliant with evolving laws.

The role requires direct ZATCA audit experience, a finance or accounting degree, and hands-on ERP proficiency with Oracle Fusion or SAP. Real estate or large corporate exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in zakat and taxation.
• Experience dealing directly with ZATCA audits and assessments.
• Experience in real estate, construction, or large corporate organizations preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage Tax Audit by GAZT, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly closure activities.
• Maintain Zakat and Tax Reporting.
• Monitor monthly zakat and tax accruals to book correct provisions on time.
• Review monthly Withholding Tax and VAT to file returns ahead of time and avoid fines.
• Stay current with zakat, tax, and VAT laws by checking ZATCA website regularly.
• Respond to authority queries promptly.
• Review draft submissions and returns before submitting to ZATCA.
• Establish regular reporting with Finance stakeholders for timely corrective action.
• Maintain register of non-compliant suppliers/customers and follow up.

Job description

Serves as a key liaison between RUA and tax authorities handling audits, resolving discrepancies and facilitating a clear understanding of zakat and tax requirements throughout the organization. Plays a critical role in safeguarding the financial integrity and compliance of RUA.

Responsibilities

• Managing Tax Audit by GAZT, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly closure activities.
• Maintain Zakat and Tax Reporting.
• Monitor closely the Zakat and tax accruals accounts on a monthly basis to book the correct provision on time.
• Review the monthly Withholding Tax and VAT, maintaining the same efficiency to file the returns ahead of time and avoid any delay fines.
• Stay current with the changes in tax, zakat and VAT laws by checking the ZATCA website regularly.
• Answer all the queries from authority in timely manners.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and yearly draft submissions and draft returns before submitting to ZATCA.
• Establish regular reporting mechanisms with Finance stakeholders to ensure that corrective action is being taken at the earliest opportunity.
• Maintain register of non‑compliant suppliers and customers to follow up on outstanding action points to completion.
• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Prepare accurate and timely functional deliverables and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies and standards.
