Job summary

UCC Holding is seeking a Cost Control Engineer to join its Project Controls team, supporting luxury hotel and high-end fit-out projects in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will coordinate cost capturing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across project lifecycles, working with cross-functional teams to ensure cost alignment with approved budgets and commercial objectives. This role requires travel to multiple project locations and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Construction Management.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in cost control, project controls, or commercial functions.
• Experience on high-end hotel, resort, or luxury fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, accruals, and cost-to-complete.
• Proficiency in Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS.
• Familiarity with ERP/project cost-control systems; Primavera P6 and Power BI advantageous.
• Fluent English; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Track financial performance, cost variances, and potential overruns.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports with variance analysis.
• Maintain cost-control records, cost codes, and allocations.
• Review purchase requests, invoices, and subcontractor costs.
• Support budgeting, cost optimization, and forecasting with teams.
• Coordinate with site teams to verify progress and quantities.
• Monitor changes and cost impacts of variations and change orders.
• Assist in cash-flow forecasts and cost-to-complete estimates.
• Ensure accurate capture of project costs per procedures.
