Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in cost control within construction projects.
• Proven experience in landscape, infrastructure, or large-scale development projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and cost control/reporting tools (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Establish cost baselines aligned with project scope and contractual requirements.
• Track project costs against budget and identify variances.
• Prepare periodic cost reports, including earned value analysis (EVA).
• Monitor commitments, expenditures, and forecast final project costs.
• Support contract administration, including variations, claims, and change orders.
• Evaluate subcontractor payments and progress valuations.
• Assist in cost impact assessments for design changes and site conditions.
• Prepare detailed cost reports for internal management and clients.
• Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and procurement teams.
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize project costs.
• Identify cost risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Participate in value engineering initiatives to improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure cost control processes align with project objectives and timelines.
