Hill International in Riyadh seeks an experienced construction counsel to support the Middle East region and Palladium. The role focuses on contract review, negotiations, and providing strategic legal guidance across projects.

Ideal candidates have 8–15 years practicing law, regional experience, and fluency in Arabic and English; duties include labor matters, compliance, disputes, and coordinating with multiple internal functions and outside counsel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Law from a reputable university.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• 8–15 years of experience as a practicing attorney, either in-house or at a top law firm.
• 5+ years of regional experience.
• Experience negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and enforcing contracts.
• General corporate law experience.
• Construction industry experience and knowledge of FIDIC plus.
• Ethics and Compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to Hill International and Palladium ME to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate, draft and review contracts including NDAs, service agreements, vendor and subconsultant contracts, JV and government contracts.
• Provide sound legal advice and manage disputes and claims.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit and HR.
• Assist in labor law matters and employment disputes; manage outside counsel.
• Support ethics, anti-bribery and compliance programs and related laws.
• Provide training and develop standard form documents (NDAs, consultancy agreements, etc.).
• Provide analysis on general corporate matters including licensing and registrations.
