Job summary

Parsons in Saudi Arabia is seeking an exceptionally talented Contracts Administrator to join our team and manage the contractual aspects of large, complex projects. The role requires negotiating substantial claims and variations, leading contract administration activities, cost analysis, and ensuring compliance while supporting project executives and managers to deliver outcomes.

This position demands strong English communication, MRICS/FRICS or equivalent qualifications, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Law or Construction.
• At least 12 years post-qualification experience on heavy civils projects.
• Experience with a contractor at a management level or with an engineering consultant/claims consultancy on contracts, procurement and disputes.
• Demonstrable track record across the project life cycle from contractual frameworks to cost estimation and disputes.
• FIDIC contract knowledge (or equivalent).
• Strong written and oral English communication and inter-personal skills.
• MRICS/FRICS/MInstCES/ACIArb/LLM qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project executives and managers in monitoring performance of contracted services to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
• Coordinate contract administration, claims, disputes, contract interpretation and cost analysis.
• Develop and manage systems for monitoring contracts to resolve compliance issues timely & effectively.
• Advise on procurement strategies and underlying contract types and agreements.
• Drive continuous improvement of commercial processes through refining contract formulation activities.
• Identify potential claims and negotiate settlements with contractors.
• Prepare claims with losses incurred and suggest remedies for contract breaches.
• Oversee budget and ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money of contracts.
• Co-manage a team of experienced Contract Administration staff.
