Job summary

Fluor Corp is seeking a Construction Support Specialist V to plan and perform work grounded in sound engineering judgment for large-scale projects worldwide. This role may lead construction support activities on mega-sized projects and requires advanced knowledge of construction disciplines.

You will develop methods and procedures, support office and field projects, analyze complex problems, and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree or global equivalent plus twelve years of related work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Strong technical knowledge to perform assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to learn, understand, and apply local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintains high attention to detail and meets project schedules.
• Strong problem solving, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
• Thorough understanding of construction operations and related support functions.
• Collaborates effectively and adapts to changing project requirements.
• Capable of performing constructability assignments in office and site environments.
• Proficient with word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
• Works well with multidisciplinary teams in support of project execution.
• Strong planning, coordination, and decision making skills.
• Practical experience supporting constructability reviews and planning activities.
• Maintains high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods, techniques, and procedures for implementation and troubleshooting of construction processes.
• Support projects located in the office and in the field.
• Analyze and independently recommend solutions to problems with varying complexity.
• Organize and prioritize assignments, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
