Job summary

ApplyMint in Riyadh seeks a seniorClaims professional to lead prevention, assessment, negotiation and settlement of construction disputes. You will coordinate contract performance, risk analysis, and documentation across projects, working with legal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Law, 10+ years in the Middle East, fluent English and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Law (LLM) — required.
Professional certification such as RICS, CICES, BIOS, CIArB, CCP, or PSP — preferred.
At least 10 years of experience on construction or civil-engineering projects in the Middle East — required.
Relevant experience in planning, delay analysis, claims, project controls, contract management, and project management — required.
Strong knowledge and practical experience across the full project lifecycle, including planning and cost and schedule control — required.
Fluent English and excellent communication skills — required.

Responsibilities

Monitor project progress and promptly identify issues that could lead to disputes or claims.
Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms, including schedule and milestones.
Establish preventive measures to prevent claim escalation through documentation and early issue resolution.
Assess claims against contract terms and gather supporting records.
Coordinate with stakeholders and legal counsel to resolve disputes.
Coordinate dispute resolution processes including ADR when possible.
