Job summary

AthGADLANG in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Compliance Officer & MLRO to lead the AML/CFT framework for a CMA-licensed institution. You will design policies, oversee risk, and ensure regulatory alignment with CMA laws while promoting a culture of integrity.

You will liaise with CMA, prepare reports, train staff, and advise the Board on compliance risks and new initiatives. The role combines two Registered Person functions with outsourcing possible subject to CMA approval.

Qualifications

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in compliance/AML/CFT roles within financial services or capital markets.
Experience as Compliance Officer and/or MLRO in a CMA-licensed entity is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of CMA regulations, Capital Market Law, and FATF standards.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and continually enhance the firm’s Compliance Manual, policies and procedures.
Monitor and advise Board and senior management on CMA rules and conduct of business.
Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and maintain a risk register.
Develop and deliver staff compliance training and awareness.
Review marketing materials and client communications from a compliance perspective.
Liaise with CMA on regulatory matters and prepare regulatory reports.
Investigate breaches and recommend remedial actions.
Provide independent compliance advice to Board, CEO, and business units.
Conduct monitoring reviews and track regulatory changes to stay up to date.
Support a culture of compliance across the organization.
