Job summary

Thndr is seeking a Compliance & MLRO in Saudi Arabia to build and manage the KSA compliance and AML/CTF capabilities. The role requires CMA registration as Compliance Officer and MLRO, with oversight of KYC, screening and reporting.

The candidate should be resident or willing to relocate to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have CMA qualifications, extensive knowledge of CMA regulations, and experience leading regulatory interactions, policy development and staff training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance and/or AML in financial services or CMA-licensed institutions.
• Experience as CMA-registered Compliance Officer or MLRO preferred.
• Experience drafting and maintaining compliance and AML/CTF policies for regulated firms.

Responsibilities

• Draft, implement and maintain CMA-aligned compliance policies and procedures.
• Review policies annually or after regulatory changes with Board approval.
• Design and run risk-based compliance program and monitoring plans.
• Provide training and act as CMA liaison for inquiries and inspections.
• Oversee KYC, risk rating and sanctions screening; report suspicious activity.
