Job summary

Virtucruit is partnering with a leading organisation in the energy and industrial services sector to appoint an Internal Controls & Compliance Manager. This senior role sits within the Legal & Compliance function, with a mandate to build, implement, and embed a robust compliance and internal controls framework across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent, with strong preference for compliance-focused education.
• Proven experience building and implementing company-wide compliance and internal control programmes.
• Hands-on experience in risk assessment, policy design, monitoring, reporting, investigations, and training.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate the compliance and internal controls framework.
• Lead compliance risk assessments and maintain the risk register.
• Develop and implement policies: Code of Conduct, conflicts of interest, data privacy, related parties, gifts, third-party and business conduct.
• Oversee investigations, whistleblowing, and reporting; liaison with external counsel as needed.
• Advise senior management on ethics, risk, and governance; drive training and culture initiatives.
